  • First, the staff are awesome! They address every concern promptly and professionally. I’ve experienced this as their UPS delivery driver and as a resident. It’s why I chose to become a resident. From little routine things to the unexpected, out of the ordinary need The Mansions addresses it in stride without missing a beat. Second, the gym and pool are awesome and pretty kick arse. Third, there’s a State Park with excellent jogging, walking and mtn bike trails next door. Yeah, I like this place. It’s pretty cool.

  • I've been living here a year now and the complex is great and it offers such a nice, safe community to live! The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Our maintenance requests are always met promptly.

Once you sign the lease. You will see a dark side of the staff. They treat even tenants that pay on time every time. Like criminals. If you pay one day after the due date, i.e. it is due on the first and you pay on the second. Not only do they charge you a fee, they send you a letter stating you have "3 days to vacate" Tenants there are viewed with disdain by the staff, so just know. The apartments are nice, and the location is good. So, just understand what your are getting yourself into. All the concierge stuff and fees seems to be mostly nonsense. Do not get sucked into that scam.

I can’t believe people actually like this place that much. I can tell you now some of these reviews are fake. First and foremost, the apartment isn’t bad... but for the price it’s horrible. I’ll start off with the amenities, the gym and pool are great. The propane grills aren’t great, but doable. The dog park is extremely muddy and not well maintained, the doggie shower head works maybe twice a week, for whatever reason they shut off the water supply to it. Next I’ll move to the Parking. Oh my god the parking. I pay $1000/mo to walk a quarter mile after a long day of work because of how bad the parking is. The parking was just fine until they added a tow away zone literally MONTHS after being open. It’s just extra revenue for them. It’s a bogus fire lane and it’s so scummy to do that to people. I know how fire regulations work and I know fire marshals and inspectors come to make sure everything is up to par, they wouldn’t have let you open your doors if you left 100m fire lane unmarked. The apartment themselves are alright, with the aging of the place you can hear the trouble. The walls creek and by god they are poorly insulated. You can hear your neighbors on the other side of the hallway if the tv is playing and god save you if someone is doing something on the balcony. The space is comfortable for what it is, but with this price you could had thrown in a washer and dryer. The maintenance teams are quick but it’s a 50/50 shot on whether they fix something. There’s also a serious bug/rodent problem. I found a dead rat behind a dumpster and for a place what makes you pay a “pest fee”, there sure as hell a lot of pests. My god bugs are everywhere. If the price were brought down to something for reasonable and they fixed the parking problem I would live here for the rest of my life, but they won’t. 1000 bucks for a one bedroom is simply too much for what you’re offering. I thought I was going to get the best service and the best place to live on this side of 1488 but I was wrong. Fix the dog park problems, the parking, and the price, then we can talk, until then I will not sign a lease again. This place just wasn’t what it claimed to be. I pay my bills 3 days early every month so what others are saying on here about a “gtfo” notice after being a day late I can’t confirm. ________________________________________________________________________ *3 month update* Yes, it has been a quarter year since my last review of "The Mansions Woodland". I have recently begun my search for a new apartment because there are still problems with this complex. Thankfully the managers/owner read my review and commented below, and with that he did ratify one problem. The dog park is a joyful experience after a light rain thanks to the gravel road put from the entrance to the bath as well as the re leveling of some areas in the park. There's still standing water but it is not half as bad as it was. With that being said, despite what management mentioned, the parking issue is still horrendous. This is probably the worst thing about this property despite the walls being not up to par with my liking. I'm still having to walk 1/4 mile and up a couple flights of stairs after a long day of work, to make matters worse i carry my tools and computing equipment up everyday, but i think im ranting more than anything. Maintenance has definitely improved, as any problems i have are generally handled same day and with 100% efficiency. If it weren't for that damn parking i would resign, but at this point it's a deal breaker. For those just now reading, i have moved my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star.
